In 1991, Ruth and David met while working as young realtors for the same company. They went out for lunch. The next day, Ruth left for a vacation in France. When she returned David picked her up at the airport, they dated for 11 straight days – then got married. That was the beginning of The Ruth and David Team.
Blending their personal and professional lives made perfect sense. It gave them the opportunity to spend time with each other while building a business upon shared values. Over their 20 years together, they have experienced all aspects of the market. From building and renovating to buying and selling – they understand the significance of what it means to have a home – and take their role as guides and advisors seriously. Ruth and David also bring a wealth of cultural competency and knowledge to the table. Ruth is fluent in Mandarin, Japanese, Taiwanese and English and they both thrive in the cosmopolitan atmosphere of Vancouver.
Building their business on three key principles: staying true to who they are, delivering impeccable customer service, and working with clients who they appreciate and enjoy, Ruth and David consistently not only rank in the top 1% of realtors in the Lower Mainland they are also in the top 20 of all realtors in the Greater Vancouver area. Their ‘people first’ philosophy has pushed the industry to innovate – the best example being their creation of Thursday night ‘Sneaky Peeks’ which captured the imagination of realtors across the city.
Featured in magazines, newspapers, and on television – Ruth and David have received every real estate award for excellence. What they’re most proud and thankful of, however, is that the majority of their business is built upon return clients and referrals.
