Ruth and David are well known in our area for being excellent realtors.  Many of our friends have raved about working with them. It is hard to miss The Ruth & David Group in our neighbourhood in East Van as they have sold signs up on houses everywhere. We got to know Ruth, David and Corey as we went to open houses looking to move from a duplex to a larger single family home. We learned a lot about our local real estate market from them and eventually they found us the home we were looking for. They provided sage advice and guidance as we went through some challenging negotiations trying to purchase our new home and their marketing efforts resulted in multiple offers and an excellent price for our previous home. This was the most important (and at times stressful) transaction of our lives and throughout it all the team was attentive to our many questions and needs. My partner and I were both first time homebuyers, and recently purchased a new home with the help of Willo and her team. As first time home buyers we did not know what we were in for or how to start the whole process of buying a home. We did a LOT of research, and met a lot of real-estate agents while attempting to go at it alone. We realized quickly that we needed help. However, we found real-estate agents irritating and phony. Preamble: I have a black and white personality, limited time, and short patience. We finally came across The Ruth & David Group website and were impressed by what was conveyed – they seemed personable and experienced. Best decision we could have made!! Willo is a superhero in our eyes and in what seems to be saturated market of real-estate agents – we consider her a rare find.

1. She made us feel like we were her only clients – My partner is a business owner and knows this is no easy task. In fact he is still perplexed as to how Willo managed to do it. I cannot stress enough that this is the MOST IMPORTANT trait you are looking for in a real estate agent because you snooze you lose when it comes to the battle of the properties.
2. She listens – You tell Willo something once and she gets it.
3. She is efficient and timely – She was quick, almost immediate, in her responses to our emails, texts, or phone calls.
4. She is competitive – She strives to be the best in whatever she does and it shows. If we were interested in a property we had a viewing ASAP. We were always happy to have her at an open house with us because she dominated the floor.
5. She is knowledgeable – Sadly we went to many viewings where the listing agent knew nothing about the property they were selling or had their facts wrong. Willo was always on the ball, kept them on their toes, researched the property and the area extensively before we arrived, and asked questions we would have forgot to ask otherwise. Willo does not “wing it” – if she does not know the answer she owns up to it and finds out what the answer is. Willo’s honesty was always appreciated.
We could not be happier with the service received from Willo and her team. We have so much trust in their competency to deliver the best customer service in Greater Vancouver.
