My partner and I were both first time homebuyers, and recently purchased a new home with the help of Willo and her team. As first time home buyers we did not know what we were in for or how to start the whole process of buying a home. We did a LOT of research, and met a lot of real-estate agents while attempting to go at it alone. We realized quickly that we needed help. However, we found real-estate agents irritating and phony. Preamble: I have a black and white personality, limited time, and short patience. I cannot stress enough that this is the MOST IMPORTANT trait you are looking for in a real estate agent because you snooze you lose when it comes to the battle of the properties.
2. She listens – You tell Willo something once and she gets it.
3. She is efficient and timely – She was quick, almost immediate, in her responses to our emails, texts, or phone calls.
4. She is competitive – She strives to be the best in whatever she does and it shows. If we were interested in a property we had a viewing ASAP. We were always happy to have her at an open house with us because she dominated the floor.
5. She is knowledgeable – Sadly we went to many viewings where the listing agent knew nothing about the property they were selling or had their facts wrong. Willo was always on the ball, kept them on their toes, researched the property and the area extensively before we arrived, and asked questions we would have forgot to ask otherwise. Willo does not “wing it” – if she does not know the answer she owns up to it and finds out what the answer is. Willo’s honesty was always appreciated.

Fast, effective and super nice. Awesome communicators with the personal touch. We signed an intent to sell on April 27, 2014 and the house was sold at $105, 000 over asking on the 12th of May. From intent to sale in such a short period of time with one evening “Sneaky Peek”‘ and one Sunday open house, Wow! The team really understood our house and who we are. It is hard to miss The Ruth & David Group in our neighbourhood in East Van as they have sold signs up on houses everywhere. We got to know Ruth, David and Corey as we went to open houses looking to move from a duplex to a larger single family home. I chose The Ruth & David Group for a few reasons. A good friend years ago used their services and had good results selling their house around Trout Lake. I was pleasantly surprised that Ruth remembered that couple. I have noticed over the years they are a constant in real estate and researched their success. The house I recently sold was a character home and they have knowledge and interest for older homes in Vancouver. Everyone on their team performed well.
