My husband and I have nothing but good things to say about The Ruth & David Group. They have sold 2 of our properties now – one in 2010 and one this fall. The 2010 sale was in the Commercial Drive area and the 2015 sale was in Mount Pleasant. They are just excellent. In both cases, we had multiple tenants for them to coordinate and in both cases, none of the tenants ever complained. I have been impressed time upon time by their knowledge of the history and culture of the Commercial Drive area. From what I understand approximately 50 groups saw our house in 4 days of showings. An incredible amount of activity for just 7 days of being on the market. In the end we had 8 offers on the 8th day. This lead to us getting a final selling price that was 23% over asking. All the way through this Corey helped us with everything and Ruth and David were in the background giving us sage advice and reassuring words to help us get through the more stressful parts. My partner and I were both first time homebuyers, and recently purchased a new home with the help of Willo and her team. As first time home buyers we did not know what we were in for or how to start the whole process of buying a home. We did a LOT of research, and met a lot of real-estate agents while attempting to go at it alone. We realized quickly that we needed help. However, we found real-estate agents irritating and phony. 5. She is knowledgeable – Sadly we went to many viewings where the listing agent knew nothing about the property they were selling or had their facts wrong. Willo was always on the ball, kept them on their toes, researched the property and the area extensively before we arrived, and asked questions we would have forgot to ask otherwise. Willo does not “wing it” – if she does not know the answer she owns up to it and finds out what the answer is. Willo’s honesty was always appreciated.
