My partner and I were both first time homebuyers, and recently purchased a new home with the help of Willo and her team. As first time home buyers we did not know what we were in for or how to start the whole process of buying a home. We did a LOT of research, and met a lot of real-estate agents while attempting to go at it alone. We realized quickly that we needed help. However, we found real-estate agents irritating and phony. Preamble: I have a black and white personality, limited time, and short patience. 1. She made us feel like we were her only clients – My partner is a business owner and knows this is no easy task. In fact he is still perplexed as to how Willo managed to do it. 5. She is knowledgeable – Sadly we went to many viewings where the listing agent knew nothing about the property they were selling or had their facts wrong. Willo was always on the ball, kept them on their toes, researched the property and the area extensively before we arrived, and asked questions we would have forgot to ask otherwise. Willo does not “wing it” – if she does not know the answer she owns up to it and finds out what the answer is. Willo’s honesty was always appreciated.

Wow. I was so impressed with the amazing service and thrilled with the results the team provided in selling my condo. Having not gone through the process before Ruth was very patient in answering all of my questions, guiding me through the steps and working with me. Also, I was selling while out of town and she was terrific in running around and tracking down keys and getting documents to my tenant to sign. Selling when you have a tenant can be tricky but due to the professionalism there were no problems. My only regret was that I didn’t hire them when I bought the place originally. Highly recommend.

The Ruth & David Group is probably the most active Real Estate Team in the Commercial Drive area. I have been impressed time upon time by their knowledge of the history and culture of the Commercial Drive area. They seem to know everyone and everyone seems to know them. Due to this when it came time choose a Real Estate Agent or Team to represent us our immediate first choice was The Ruth & David Group. Ruth and Corey came out to meet us, see our place, find out what our situation was, what we were looking to achieve and give us their assessment of what they could get for us. They were upfront and frank about everything, no over estimations of our house’s worth or promising the world to get our business. Just a calm, reasoned appraisal of our situation and suggestions tailored to our specific needs. When it came time to put our place on the market they were easy to work with and incredibly efficient. From what I understand approximately 50 groups saw our house in 4 days of showings. An incredible amount of activity for just 7 days of being on the market.
