My partner and I were both first time homebuyers, and recently purchased a new home with the help of Willo and her team. As first time home buyers we did not know what we were in for or how to start the whole process of buying a home. We did a LOT of research, and met a lot of real-estate agents while attempting to go at it alone. We realized quickly that we needed help. However, we found real-estate agents irritating and phony. Preamble: I have a black and white personality, limited time, and short patience. We finally came across The Ruth & David Group website and were impressed by what was conveyed – they seemed personable and experienced. Best decision we could have made!! Willo is a superhero in our eyes and in what seems to be saturated market of real-estate agents – we consider her a rare find.

1. She made us feel like we were her only clients – My partner is a business owner and knows this is no easy task. In fact he is still perplexed as to how Willo managed to do it. I cannot stress enough that this is the MOST IMPORTANT trait you are looking for in a real estate agent because you snooze you lose when it comes to the battle of the properties.

3. She is efficient and timely – She was quick, almost immediate, in her responses to our emails, texts, or phone calls.
4. She is competitive – She strives to be the best in whatever she does and it shows. If we were interested in a property we had a viewing ASAP. We were always happy to have her at an open house with us because she dominated the floor.
5. She is knowledgeable – Sadly we went to many viewings where the listing agent knew nothing about the property they were selling or had their facts wrong. Willo was always on the ball, kept them on their toes, researched the property and the area extensively before we arrived, and asked questions we would have forgot to ask otherwise. Willo does not “wing it” – if she does not know the answer she owns up to it and finds out what the answer is. Willo’s honesty was always appreciated.

Buying or selling a house can be a very scary thing (especially in Vancouver)……so emotionally charged, with so many real consequences. I used Ruth and David for both. They were knowledgeable, professional and have integrity with no pressure. They put my needs first, not their commission. I have now landed in the right place, largely to do with their help. I chose The Ruth & David Group for a few reasons. A good friend years ago used their services and had good results selling their house around Trout Lake.
