I chose The Ruth & David Group for a few reasons. A good friend years ago used their services and had good results selling their house around Trout Lake. I was pleasantly surprised that Ruth remembered that couple. I have noticed over the years they are a constant in real estate and researched their success. The house I recently sold was a character home and they have knowledge and interest for older homes in Vancouver. Everyone on their team performed well. The pictures on the MLS turned out great and their associate Corey was very personable. All in all my house sold at a fair market price and I’m happy with the service I chose.

From intent to sale in such a short period of time with one evening “Sneaky Peek”‘ and one Sunday open house, Wow! The team really understood our house and who we are. Wow. I was so impressed with the amazing service and thrilled with the results the team provided in selling my condo. Having not gone through the process before Ruth was very patient in answering all of my questions, guiding me through the steps and working with me. Also, I was selling while out of town and she was terrific in running around and tracking down keys and getting documents to my tenant to sign. Selling when you have a tenant can be tricky but due to the professionalism there were no problems. My only regret was that I didn’t hire them when I bought the place originally. Highly recommend.

My partner and I were both first time homebuyers, and recently purchased a new home with the help of Willo and her team. As first time home buyers we did not know what we were in for or how to start the whole process of buying a home. We did a LOT of research, and met a lot of real-estate agents while attempting to go at it alone. We realized quickly that we needed help. However, we found real-estate agents irritating and phony. Preamble: I have a black and white personality, limited time, and short patience. 3. She is efficient and timely – She was quick, almost immediate, in her responses to our emails, texts, or phone calls.
4. She is competitive – She strives to be the best in whatever she does and it shows. If we were interested in a property we had a viewing ASAP. We were always happy to have her at an open house with us because she dominated the floor.
5. She is knowledgeable – Sadly we went to many viewings where the listing agent knew nothing about the property they were selling or had their facts wrong. Willo was always on the ball, kept them on their toes, researched the property and the area extensively before we arrived, and asked questions we would have forgot to ask otherwise. Willo does not “wing it” – if she does not know the answer she owns up to it and finds out what the answer is. Willo’s honesty was always appreciated.

Willo was the perfect professional to help us buying our first apartment. She laid out all our options and carefully explained the costs and benefits of each. My husband and I have nothing but good things to say about The Ruth & David Group. They have sold 2 of our properties now – one in 2010 and one this fall.
