My husband and I have nothing but good things to say about The Ruth & David Group. They have sold 2 of our properties now – one in 2010 and one this fall. I chose The Ruth & David Group for a few reasons. A good friend years ago used their services and had good results selling their house around Trout Lake. I was pleasantly surprised that Ruth remembered that couple. I have noticed over the years they are a constant in real estate and researched their success. The house I recently sold was a character home and they have knowledge and interest for older homes in Vancouver. Everyone on their team performed well. The pictures on the MLS turned out great and their associate Corey was very personable. All in all my house sold at a fair market price and I’m happy with the service I chose.

I strongly recommend Willo Jackson to anyone desiring to purchase a house in the Vancouver area. She was highly recommended to my wife and myself by our son, who had just bought a condo. Willo carefully guided us through the whole process: sending us possible listings months before our visit to Vancouver, taking us to examine over fifteen selected homes once we arrived in the city, pointing out the positive features and liabilities of each home and its location, advising us on strategically placing an offer on a perfect place, and helping us finalize the purchase agreement. Throughout all of these steps, we were deeply impressed with her background knowledge of particular localities in the city, her understanding of underlying physical features of each structure, her familiarity with the present-day market, and the cultivated relationships she and her firm had with many other agents. Before the closing date Willo sent us a very detailed list of the steps to take to complete the purchase and assured us she would be there whenever we needed suggestions or other help. Overall, her energy and enthusiasm were infectious and in the end we felt that we had a good friend on our side.   ​

Wow. I was so impressed with the amazing service and thrilled with the results the team provided in selling my condo. Having not gone through the process before Ruth was very patient in answering all of my questions, guiding me through the steps and working with me. Also, I was selling while out of town and she was terrific in running around and tracking down keys and getting documents to my tenant to sign. Selling when you have a tenant can be tricky but due to the professionalism there were no problems. My only regret was that I didn’t hire them when I bought the place originally. Highly recommend.

The Ruth & David Group is probably the most active Real Estate Team in the Commercial Drive area. I have been impressed time upon time by their knowledge of the history and culture of the Commercial Drive area. They seem to know everyone and everyone seems to know them. Due to this when it came time choose a Real Estate Agent or Team to represent us our immediate first choice was The Ruth & David Group. Ruth and Corey came out to meet us, see our place, find out what our situation was, what we were looking to achieve and give us their assessment of what they could get for us. They were upfront and frank about everything, no over estimations of our house’s worth or promising the world to get our business. Just a calm, reasoned appraisal of our situation and suggestions tailored to our specific needs. When it came time to put our place on the market they were easy to work with and incredibly efficient. Everything was arranged in 1 week, photos and floor plans put online and they had already put the word out to clients they knew were waiting for a property like ours. Our property was on the market for only 1 week. From what I understand approximately 50 groups saw our house in 4 days of showings. An incredible amount of activity for just 7 days of being on the market. In the end we had 8 offers on the 8th day. This lead to us getting a final selling price that was 23% over asking. All the way through this Corey helped us with everything and Ruth and David were in the background giving us sage advice and reassuring words to help us get through the more stressful parts. Joy was managing all of the details and Willo was handling all of our last minute questions during the Closing Period. It was an amazing whirlwind experience and yet it never made us feel like we were over our heads. The Team was truly amazing.
