My husband and I have nothing but good things to say about The Ruth & David Group. They have sold 2 of our properties now – one in 2010 and one this fall. The 2010 sale was in the Commercial Drive area and the 2015 sale was in Mount Pleasant. They are just excellent. In both cases, we had multiple tenants for them to coordinate and in both cases, none of the tenants ever complained. It is hard to miss The Ruth & David Group in our neighbourhood in East Van as they have sold signs up on houses everywhere. We got to know Ruth, David and Corey as we went to open houses looking to move from a duplex to a larger single family home. We learned a lot about our local real estate market from them and eventually they found us the home we were looking for. They provided sage advice and guidance as we went through some challenging negotiations trying to purchase our new home and their marketing efforts resulted in multiple offers and an excellent price for our previous home. My partner and I were both first time homebuyers, and recently purchased a new home with the help of Willo and her team. As first time home buyers we did not know what we were in for or how to start the whole process of buying a home. We did a LOT of research, and met a lot of real-estate agents while attempting to go at it alone. We realized quickly that we needed help. However, we found real-estate agents irritating and phony. Preamble: I have a black and white personality, limited time, and short patience. 5. She is knowledgeable – Sadly we went to many viewings where the listing agent knew nothing about the property they were selling or had their facts wrong. Willo was always on the ball, kept them on their toes, researched the property and the area extensively before we arrived, and asked questions we would have forgot to ask otherwise. Willo does not “wing it” – if she does not know the answer she owns up to it and finds out what the answer is. Willo’s honesty was always appreciated.
