Knowledgeable and dedicated are just two of the words that come to mind when we think of Ayla White. A wizard when it comes to selling, she does it all with a smile, and a genuine desire to help her clients. We recently heard from Ayla and discussed everything from her favourite home-cooked meal, to why she entered the real estate world.

Q&A with Ayla

Q: What is your favourite food to make at home?

A: A nice hearty soup or yummy breakfast toast with avocado, spinach, seeds, and hot sauce.

Q: What are your top restaurant recommendations in East Van?

A:  Savio Volpe, Nuba, Havana, and Lunch Lady.

Q: What was/is your quarantine hobby?

A: Reading, biking, and jumping on Zoom calls with friends and family.

Q: As Vancouver gets a little colder, what activity can you be found doing?

A:  Bundled up walks in nature, online shopping 😅, and reading.

Q: What’s one kitchen gadget or appliance you couldn’t live without?

A: My Instant Pot and coffee machine.

Q: If someone had never visited Vancouver, where’s the first place you’d bring them? 

A: Gastown and Stanley Park!

Q: What’s one fun fact about you?

A: I’ve lived in four different provinces: Saskatchewan, Alberta, Ontario, and British Columbia.

Q: What encouraged you to choose a career in real estate/what do you love about your job?

A: I’ve always loved houses and working with people—found myself surrounded by Realtors at that time in my life and realized how much they loved their jobs. I love meeting new people and seeing how people live!

Q: What’s one tip you can give to someone who is selling their home? 

A: Declutter and stage. Even if it’s staging with your own items—rearranging furniture makes a huge difference.
