Top Holiday Activities in Vancouver

With the holidays right around the corner, it’s time to get festive, if that’s your thing. If you are hanging lights outdoors, be sure they are secure without using nails or screws that can leave holes once you remove them. If you are in a strata, do have a look over your strata bylaws to confirm when outdoor lights are permitted to be hung. Some bahumbugs don’t want to look at beautiful holiday lights in July.

If you are putting up a live tree this year, here are some good spots to pick one up and help some great causes:
Lions Club 41st and Fraser Street
Aunt Leah’s Trees
Scouts Christmas Trees (North Vancouver)
Cut your own Christmas Tree
If you are in a strata, most buildings don’t allow live trees. So check your bylaws if you planned on having one.

Holiday Events in the Lower Mainland

Capilano Canyon Lights
VanDusen Lights
Bright Nights Train
Enchant Christmas Market
Santa Claus Parade
